Outlet Damper

Multi louvre style usually mounted in a frame bolted directly to the fan outlet.

Two types are used; parallel bladed and opposed bladed.

Parallel bladed are simple to manufacture. Opposed bladed are slightly more expensive but generally give better flow control and a more even flow distribution downstream.

Can be used to control the flow through the fan but can cause stability problems at high closure angles. Centrix will automatically generate curves for partially closed dampers (use the 'Options' button at the bottom of the curve plot form).
