Adding new motors and Pole Speeds

The simplest way to add a new motor or pole speed is to copy one of the existing motors.

For example, to add a 6 pole motor select a 4 pole or 2 pole motor from the same supplier with the same frame size.

Click the 'New/Copy' button and enter the new details.

Check the box to select the motor for further editing.

Click the 'Create' button.

You can now edit the motor further by typing directly into the boxes for dimensions and price etc and then clicking the 'Save' button.

If there is no motor available with the same frame size then pick the nearest and follow the same procedure above. You will then have to edit all the dimensions.

It is important to enter correct dimensions if you want to make use of the automatic design and drawing facilities.
