Max Tip Speed

The default of 200 m/s is more than adequate for most selections.

Being as Centrix designs the fan mechanically to suit the duty it is not usually necessary to change this value unless a very high pressure is required.

The default of 200 m/s is very high for a fan. Some designs can exceed this value but it should only be increased if fan selections cannot be found otherwise. Special engineering will most likely be required any way at tip speeds in excess of 150 m/s.
