Volume Max +Q%

Only applicable to fixed speed selections.

When a Centrix makes a fixed speed selection it is able to pick a standard size that exceeds the duty volume by an amount set by +Q%, that is, the percentage volume over and above the specified volume with the pressure increased by +Q% squared over and above the specified pressure.

Fans selected with a high +Q% value have a performance curve that shows 2 duty points. The first duty point is the specified duty. The second duty point shows the volume and pressure that the fan delivers on a square law basis.

Note that the curve can be derated so that it passes through the specified duty by selecting 'Derate curve by Plus Q%' under the curve options.
