Density

Fans develop pressure by converting velocity of gas. This process is dependant upon the gas density passing through the fan. The fan pressure and power are directly proportional to the gas density.

It is important that the correct density be used otherwise the fan will not perform as expected on site.

Centrix automatically calculates the density as values are typed in for inlet pressure, selection temperature, elevation, humidity and specific gravity.

Alternatively click the Specify option to type a density into the box.
